Appointment of General Manager

Viridor Credits Environmental Company, an independent community and environmental funding body based in Taunton , is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Nelson as General Manager replacing Patrick Capper.

Lisa previously worked for Viridor, one of the

’s leading resource management companies for six and a half years. Viridor distributes its landfill tax credits to Viridor Credits who fund and support environmental, conservation and community projects through the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF).

Lisa has worked all over the world including Ha Noi in Vietnam with the British Diplomatic Community and a role in the UK Delegation to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris . Previous roles have also taken her to Spain and London .

Ian White, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, said: “Lisa will be a great asset to the team. She has lots of experience and the skill set to put her in good stead for her future with Viridor Credits.”

About her new post, Lisa said: “I am delighted to be heading up the team at Viridor Credits. As an Environmental Body it does a fantastic job for a countless number of projects all around the UK and I am looking forward to being part of this valuable work.”
